Haircut!

Hayden was starting to look like a little orphan child so we decided it was time to cut his little baby hair and officially make him a little man. Tiffany is not only amazing at cutting people's hair that actually sit still but she was even more impressive at cutting the little wiggle worm.

Day before the cut. We got out of the tub and decided it was time.

Doesn't quite know what to think about the pink cape.

Meet our orphan Hayden.

He really enjoyed himself.

All in a days work . . .

Finished product

He did so good and we so appreciate Tiff for using her mad haircutting skills! Our baby isn't so babyish anymore.

Speaking of haircuts. . .

. . .  No my 3 year old niece did not get a hold of some scissors while I was a sleep and decide to give me a new look. No I did not fry my hair off with my straightener. And no I did not get gum in my hair and have to cut it out.

Yes, all of this is new hair growth from when I went bald after having Hayden. What's funny is I didn't realize I had bald spots or had lost that much hair until one day I was combing my wet hair and then pulled it back and I about died. I ran in and showed Andrew that I was going bald. It was really kinda scary because it was so far back and very bald. Then gradually my bald spots started "sprouting" and now it's resulted in this. It's bad because it goes all the way around my head. Even at the nape of my neck. We plan on having our kids fairly close, so if this keeps happening I might look like Smiegle off of Lord of the Rings before I'm done! So, that is why I don't straighten my hair ever now and I'm very thankful that I have curly hair to keep these unruly "locks" under control. One of my greatest fears about having kids was what it'd do to my hair. I was afraid that I'd have one side go straight or several random spots have no curl. So when that didn't happen I thought I was in the clear. I never worried about my hair falling out. I actually welcomed it. I'm just thankful it's coming in curly. I just hope it keeps growing fast! What us mom's go through. I tell ya :)

Oh my gosh! Smeagol!!!! I DIED laughing! You crack m up. I've been lucky enough to have mine fall out all over instead of just at my hairline so it's not as noticeable. =) Hayden of course looks adorable with his new haircut.

Lol! I feel ya Steph! I think you and I come from the same category of hair and my baby hairs are finally long enough that I can straighten my hair again. Hayden is so so cute and I hope I get to meet the little guy in person soon!
